在 45 South 工作，公司可以順便幫你安排住宿。
Cromwell 有兩間 Holiday Park : Top 10 Holiday Park、The Chalets Holiday Park。
今年我們被安排入住 The Chalets Holiday  Park，雖然費用有點高，但其實環境還不錯。

這裡有很多種房間，價錢都不一樣。
Camping and Campervan area 每晚 NZD 15
Double room 每晚 NZD 28
Single room 每晚 NZD 38
Self-contained unit 每晚 NZD 80 ( 可容纳 3 人 )
3-bedrooms holiday house 每晚 NZD 150

公司安排给我们的住宿每星期 NZD 135，厕所厨房都是共用的。
而我们三个得到幸运女神的眷顾，报到的时候剩下最后一间 self-contained unit studio！！
我们三个人刚刚好，有自己的厕所，自己的小厨房，自己的冰箱，自己的微波炉！！
太感动了！好幸福的感觉 ~~

这就是我们的新家！

被調出來後，雖然還要打掃，很痛苦，但至少沒有壓力！
我們的工作：

1. 盒子

弄盒子基本上就是人人羡慕的工作。( 请不要揍我！)
没压力、薪水以小时计算、没有人监督着、还可以听音乐、聊天，其实真的很开心。
只是偶尔樱桃量很多，packing room 里人手不够，老乌龟才会把我们调进去帮忙一下。

弄盒子的工作基本上就是4个步骤：
1. 把盒子弄开，有些用压的，有些需要折成形
2. 放塑料袋
3. 放 soaker pad
4. 装进 tray 或 bin 裡面

從 sorting room 被拯救出來後，仿佛從地獄升上天堂一樣。
可是下班後又掉回下去地獄！

大家開開心心下班回家，我們還要留下來至少兩個小時打掃。
這跟小學生沒做完功課被罰留堂有什麼兩樣？

又回到這裡，打掃 sorting room。
剛開始的時候還不是 peak season，sorter人數不多，大概 30 幾個，所以只需清理 half room。
到後期最多人的時候快 70 人，天天 full house！！累死！

之前提過我是上網申請工作的，也很幸運的拿到了。
很多人知道我拿到 45 South，都一副羨慕的眼神。
到底為什麼？ 到季節結束，我才知道原因。

第一天上班  (2015年12月29日)
我申請的是櫻桃包裝廠的工作，不是 Picker 比較好賺？

是啊，Picker 的工資是記件式 (Contract Based)，採得越快，賺的錢當然越多，相對的付出的代價也更高。
在我們的廠，Picker 的上班時間是早上 6 點到下午 4 點左右。
早上冷的讓人發抖，中午曬得讓人頭暈，下雨的話就提早收工。

填了一張 Employee Form，簽了賣身契 Employment Agreement。
簡單的 Briefing，說一說工廠裡的規則。
對！這裡櫻桃任吃！沒錯，真的任吃！
可是吃到瀉肚子，公司不負責哦！
接過員工手冊，翻了一下。

Inland Revenue NumberTax will be deducted at the no-declaration rate of 46.45% until you complete and return to Main Office your IR330 Tax Code declaration including your correct IRD number.

完蛋了，我們的申請已經快一個星期了，還沒有回復。
第一個星期的薪水幾乎一半會被紐西蘭政府拿掉！
該死的 IRD 部門，聖誕和新年期間休息 2 個星期！

紐西蘭打工度假 - 櫻桃工廠 45 South

很幸運的在出發前我就拿到了全紐西蘭最大間的櫻桃廠 - 45 South。
45 South 位於南島 Central Otago 的 Cromwell，是紐西蘭最大間的櫻桃出口商。
這裡 12 月中到 2 月初是櫻桃季節，而櫻桃季節結束后接下去的是少量的李子 (Plum) 和杏仁果 (Apricot)，大約 2 個星期左右。

拿到 45 South 的工作，不用煩住宿問題，僱主可以安排給我們。

來到這裡有個比較陌生的詞：SMOKO
Smoko 其實是小休的意思，一天會有兩次，早上一次、下午一次，每次 15 分鐘。
就像小朋友們的下課時間，吃吃小點心、喝喝咖啡、喝喝茶、充充電。

與我同行的還有兩個朋友，所以 3 人一組是正確的選擇。
45 South 雖然是大廠，但福利沒有特別好，就一般般。
工資照最低薪金制計算 NZD 14.75 (2015年12月) 再加 8% Holiday Pay。
在紐西蘭打工度假，你是需要付所得稅給紐西蘭政府哦！
要記得一點就是賺得越多，付的稅越高。
不要靠北為什麼要付稅，你生活在別人的國家，就要遵守別人的規矩。

基本上每家櫻桃廠的操作方式都不大一樣。
有的對 picker 很嚴厲，採的果要夠熟，又不可以太熟，不然會中 warning。
可是聽朋友說 45 South 對 picker 很好，有收穫就好，而且價錢比較高。
可是對 sorter 就比較嚴厲，而且做 sorter 壓力很大！

相比之下，做 packing 比較幸福一些，稱稱重量、蓋蓋子、裝箱、搬箱。
可是速度要快，因為櫻桃量多，它們衝出來的時候會讓你措手不及。
兩個人合作的話就會比較輕鬆。

我的親身經歷：《在 45 South 快樂的日子》

我們的 Pack House Manager ，外號老烏龜，我幫他取的。
為什麼？
他每一天穿的衣和褲都是一樣的，都是偏褐的深綠色，像烏龜的顏色。
再加上他戴的那一副遠遠的眼睛，看起來就像小孩卡通里的什麼烏龜博士之類的。
他說話又超級小聲，每次我們都要說 excuse me, can you repeat??
他，有人說他很好，我卻說他很鳥、小氣、心機重，是個一點都不大氣的老男人。

雖然我不喜歡他，可是他把我從 sorting room 里救出來，我很感激。
在紐西蘭打工度假，記得一句話，
“請珍惜你擁有的，因為你以後未必會再有這樣的待遇。”

紐西蘭打工度假 - 紐西蘭櫻桃廠

在紐西蘭，最搶手的工作莫過於櫻桃廠。
為什麼？
有人說工作輕鬆，有人說工時長，有人說很好賺
讓我來告訴你我的親生經歷。

櫻桃季節在每年的 12 月到 2 月，主要集中在南島 Central Otago 的 Cromwell, Alexandra， Roxburgh。
在這裡大大小小的櫻桃廠近30家，大概 9 月很多櫻桃廠就會開始招收員工。
一些比較大的廠都可以上網申請。


怎麼申請？
每一年的 9 月，各家櫻桃廠會陸續開放申請。
一些可以直接在官方網站點入 “Jobs” ，然後填上個人資料，提交申請。
一些則需要電郵過去，問一問什麼時候可以開放申請，確定日期后，再把個人資料電郵過去。
基本上申請的時候不需要列明你的學歷，沒人在管這個的。哈哈 ~


在 2015 年 9 月初，我們申請了很多家櫻桃廠。有些在 10 月初才會開放申請，所以要不斷地去各個網站查詢。要找到工作就要努力！！

其中，45 South 比較喜歡接受 3 人一組的申請，有一欄是要你寫有沒有朋友一起申請，有的話就寫下名字，那裡 packhouse 的工作大部分是 3 人一組的 sorter 。

而過後聽朋友說，Suncrest 就喜歡請 couple，原因不詳... haha
